Evening all, I've had my first imprexa now for just over 3 weeks and this week i've noticed a small oil leak ! It's a 96 Turbo wagon on a P-reg. I took it to the dealer (not subaru) and he's diagnosed it as a faulty seal on the oil filter, I've been told it's a genuine subaru one and it will be replaced tomorrow.

Anyone had a problem with this sort of thing?

While i'm here, is £225 incl.vat a good price for an annual servoce from a subaru dealer as it's booked in for a service?

Cheers, come on England!

Skoosh.

Bit unusual for the oil filter to leak I would have thought unless it was not installed properly. Maybe no oil on the rubber seal before fitting or not being tightened enough.

Can't advise you on servicing charges since I do my own.

I'm sure it will be ok when they refit the filter anyway.
