Just back from a shakedown.......'Ring Sunday, Spa Monday.
Brilliant trip, car ran sweet as...
It was a brake hose which had not been secured properly (not by the fitter/supplier or myself I hasten to add) and this allowed it to abrade against the strut.

Oops. I thought you just went off -- you didn't whack the Ferrari too, did you?
Any indications as to cause -- there was some speculation about brake hoses?
