Didn't Anders move from a Fiat 500 (or something similar) to a 22B?

My mate went from a 1.0 Nova to a 290bhp V8 Pop. That's about 650%.

Don't know about power upgrading but I moved from a Merc Coupe to a Scooby and serously reduced my servicing costs. And I get better treatment from the guys at Lavender Hill!

What is the biggest upgrade you have ever heard of?
I have a 1.1 Metro, and my UK Scooby arrives in a few weeks. Is this a record? It is a 400% to 500% power upgrade by my thinking!

Cool

How about a knackered 1.8 non-efi golf automatic with persistant misfire, knackered carburation, and a slipping torque converter (top speed 70mph) to MY98 UK turbo?

Cheers,

Alex

Yes I did own a Merc.
But now my voice has broken I've upgraded!
Family commitments yesterday. My son gave me a sound thrashing on some swordfighting game at the bowling alley!

Unhappy

There is a 20 year old who has just joined our local group who has an ex-Castle Performance Cossie (grey injectors) running a claimed 400bhp through the rear wheels. This is insured as a standard car in his mum's name and his "own" car is a MG Metro....

The question is, how long will he (or the car) stay in one piece....

1 litre Nova to a BMW M5 (340bhp version). Traction and handling were so much better in the BMW that it was probably safer!

Talking

Trumpcard time: Morris Minor Convertable, MY1965 with godonlyknows how little power to MY00 UK spec.

I was borrowing the car for four months before the Scoob arrived after I had sold my previous car...

"Quite big" adequately describes the differences between the cars in whatever category you care to mention. Other than "stare value", though it was the older end of the population that looked at the moggy and the younger with the scoob.

Well I can beat you all into smitherines !
Before my Scooby became mine I was busy peddaling about on my pro~flex mountain bike - the bhp is variable (depends on how much I drunk the night before) say 5 bhp of arguments sake to the Sports BHP which is ? ? erm - dont laugh you lot ! 125bph isnt it ?
so that has to be an upgrade of about 2500 %
ha back at ya babe ! (we'll miss you Zoe)
