Power egineering used to do it @ about £11 a bottle dont know if they still do tbh. I had heard that the NF one was withdrawn as it made false claims about its results(maybe wrong). I have alwyas bought my octane booster from Scoobymaina 10 bottles of millers for £38 to your door

Krade,
NF was and never has been withdrawn for "false claims"
"Things" were said, based on totally biased information and a product not available in the UK.
If you want a good OB NF is pretty much recognised as the best to have by those that knoww - those that say otherwise either don't know much or don't sell it
IMO
Give Dingy a buzz for the one shot.
As far as I was aware J Spec never actually bought any NF - so how they "no longer sell it" I don't quite know

Although i didn't really want to get involved in this, but it may be worthwhile noting, J-spec never bought any as we were tied to a minimum order quantity at a price many customers were claiming they could beat if they were purchasing more than 3-5 bottles at a time, kind of defeated the purpose of buying it to sell at a loss methinks, im not NAM <joke - before any of you have a sense of humour by-pass.....>
Didnt seem a great deal of mileage in purchasing a case just to look at or sell at a loss...

I wouldn't base my choice of OB by the claims on the side of the bottle, so I tried the ones that are readily available.
No doubt all the tuners in Drivetrain have tried them all, and all the people that regularly track their car have tried them all - its pretty obvious which one most of them prefer...
Dingy, have you sent my order yet?

NF - I did hear bad things about it and used to use Millers. Surprisngly this was from the FORD community, and inparticularly the Cosworth community who make all sorts of accusations about it.
Having now used the stuff myself over the last year, I can highly recommend it. It allows significant increase in ignition advance to improve performance of the car or reduce the potential for det on normally tuned cars
It is expensive though at about £13 for a single bottle, although if you buy it by the box (30 bottles) you should be able to get it for £330 plus postage, or thereabouts
I have plenty of Millers still, but I only use this in my Audi Turbo

Is it worth using Octane Booster?. I have a 94wrx and always run it on either Optimax or Super Unleaded. Not like the cars are exactly lacking in performance.
Or is it just a benefit as some like the imports are designed to run off higher octane fuel which is better for the engine?.
