I've read the manual twice. I particularly like the bit that tells you how to change a side light bulb - no reference to having to dismantle half the car

And check the coolant. Check it every time you stop for fuel. The level must be checked with a cold engine......

And I'm just about to find out how good the Subaru recovery service is, as the radiator has started leaking...
