WRX TV ADVERT
#1
Has anyone else seen the new advert for the WRX? It has this guy really going for it in this silver WRX over all sorts of terrain. I only half saw it in the pub the other night so it must only be on SKY as its not the sort of advert you would get on ITV given the speed element of the advert. If anyone knows how to get a copy of it or has an mpeg please post it or tell me where I can get a copy. Alternatively could you email it to me at mccrash555@hotmail.com? Who says advertising doesn't work - it sold me.
Cheers.

The ad is only on satellite (Eurosport and the like) - I first saw it in Germany at the start of the year.
Quite good - you see someone driving a MY03 WRX like an absolute maniac round the place over all sorts of terrain - doing stuff you should not do on the public highway....
..then you see him getting out of the car and zooms back to show it was just a simulator...he then drives off on normal roads driving normally.

3times - thanks for the link - great videos.
Must be something wrong with my MY03, it doesn't sound anything like that!
Don't think I'll try and overtake any bikes like that either.

I like the ad, but the background is so obviously high quality computer generated, I spent most of it thinking it was for PlayStation's WRC series. I suppose this is on purpose; if they'd made it look real (Industrial Light and Magic!), they could be accused of encouraging some pretty silly driving.

First time I saw this, it had a tagline along the lines of new subaru, new responsibilities (or similar) - this seems to have been dropped of late...
Interesting choice of emphasis.
