Ive been told by many a peeps to come on here cos your all heaps friendly!
Im currently a member of cliosport and drive a 172cup, but am in need of something a bit more. Just paid off my finance so the cars mine, and im lookin to get a scooby! bring on the big boys!

I've just a few questions and would appreciate any responses as i never knew about cliosport when buyin my first clio and bought a ****ter, wish i knew then what i know now!

Anyway, firstly models.....i know i cant afford the rb5, p1 & 22b, im lookin to speed between 6-9k (i know a big margin) but i need some money for insurance! Is the STi and the Norm wrx turb in the same ins group? i know its 17 for the norm..... and what is peeps views on imports as i've seen 218bhp or 238bhp for jap ones! hmmmmm
are the sti's 3dr?
And i think thats it for now!

Normal UK cars, unmodifed will be insurance group 17
Lightly modified UK and Imported non STI cars will be around Grp 19
STI and heavily modified UK cars will be around Grp 20.

 

as you said the classic shape is group 17 then the bug eye uk spec wrx are group 19, but im sure all the wrx n Sti imports are group 20. i may be wrong tho.
