Found two more from my You and your Impreza book
WRX STi Version II 555
WRX Type R STi Version III Signature
Both JDM.

A quick count reveals 72 seperate Japanese only WRX models, including all versions, body styles, engines and transmission types (ie auto or manual). To include the US, European, UK and Australian will easily push that figure over 100. Pretty impressive

Mk1
Mk2
Mk3
Mk4

All the rest mentioned are model editions (or whatever you call them) such as GL, LX, Turbo, GTi, STI, WRX etc. etc.

I'd make 3/4 lists under each 'mark' category. e.g. Mk1 - GL, Turbo 2000, WRX. Mk2 - GL, Turbo, WRX, STi, RA, P1 & so forth. Someone must've done this somewhere.

Cool

Richard, it's published by Haynes and is predominantly an overview of the classic model. Pretty interesting read, but it ain't technical (even though there is a section covering mods). Also, I believe from IWOC that Amazon is doing a 30% off all books which includes the Y&Y Impreza book.....

Depends how far you want to go with this - if we're including every different STI by number, we should also include all the different UK cars by model year, since they were all slightly different too.

Also no mention of:
- the Operetta cabriolet prototype
- the Electra One
- the different variations of the current STI (actually called WRX III STI version?); the Euro spec, JDM and US versions are all different.
- the Outback Sport (or was that a Legacy?)

From Prodrive:
- the RB5 WR
- P1 WR
- The UK-spec WR Sport

Andy.

(Edited to add that the 22B type UK was slightly different from the more common JDM-spec 22B too...)
