Currently own MY99 UK Turbo, induction kit, de-cat Blitz system. The mileage on it is 59,000miles, i am planning on keeping the car until the end of this year, i do quite alot of miles so by then it'd probs be up to 70,000miles on the clock and i wanna get rid of it then when i can still get abit of money for it.

Now here's the dilemma, at that point do i get a Bugeye WRX for around 13,000quid or for the same money get a P-reg BMW M3?- Bare in mind i would have to spend a fair bit making the Bugeye look decent!!

Does anyone know much about the running costs of the old style M3 at all, how does it compare to the scooby??

Any help, opinions and advice appreciated!

Go for the Scooby.everyman and his dog has got a BMW hence no street cred.If you go for the bug eye it will be in a better shape than the BM and it will still have some warranty..go on you know it makes sense.

Yeh but i'm thinking that the old M3 (p-reg) are abit old school now, you dont see many around at all, well i dont! They are quick cars aswell...arent they???

Very. 321 bhp and 2wd.
0-60 in 5.5 and a limited 155 top end.

6 years of hard driving will have taken its toll and the repair bills will be equally as high as the scoobys. its a case of what you want
