Dealer currently trying to sell me this on my MY03, seems rather expensive for a nice shine at the £250 he wants.

Hi Elmer Fudpacker,
I don't know what Supergaurd is like but from what you say, most car polishes/waxes etc all claim pretty much the same thing as you have described. Don't forget as well that although it may protect from all the things you mentioned, it won't stop you getting stone chips or scrathes in the paint.
£250 will keep you in car car products for a very long time!
Just my 2p's worth.
Cheers.

Cannot spell at this time of night!

Question

Is swissol permanent though?

This Supaguard sounds like a permanent treatment, which only requires a standard wash once in a while to get that superb finish...

Thumbs up

Although i can't comment on whether its good VFM or not.
Supagaurd is a polymer type polish which molecularly bonds itself to your paintwork(inc wheels),protecting it from all weathers,ultra-violet,road salts,bird-poo..etc..etc.
...and provided you keep your car clean using mild car shampoo and
a car polish with no 'cut' in it,the deep shine finish and protection will be retained
...and as a footnote
no connection with Supagaurd, but just had it put on my car for free

Swissol products are just as good and is supplied by wax wizard and various suppliers. You will see many many recommendations on scoobynet for this product. Way cheaper as well & you can get a decent starter kit for £145 which includes:

Shampoo (shield wax with teflon for protection)
Cleanser
Wax
Paint Rubber
All cloths
Tyre dresser
Shampoo

+some others which i cannot remember at the mo.
