So what is the performance difference between the two? 0-60 and 0-100 Times? Torque?

This is shamelessly stolen from Subaru UK's website, I'm sure they won't mind!

STi Performance Pack
Power-
This pack raises Peak Power to 305ps (300bhp) @ 6000rpm - a 15% increase.
Torque-
Peak torque is now 405Nm (299lbft) @ 4000rpm
The car now has more torque between 3000 and 5800rpm than the std car has at it's peak figure. At 2500rpm it has nearly 30% more torque than the std car and 20% more at 3000rpm.
Parts changed are as follows-
Revised EMS (Engine Management System)
High flow catalyst
Sports silencer
Performance fuel pump
Performance figures-
0-60 = 4.62 secs Vs 5.17 secs (std car)
0-100 = 12.20 secs Vs 13.69 secs (std car)

part no: SACC2564
£ 1995.00 (including fitting) (including VAT at 17.5%)
Regards
Chuck (still waiting )

Reason I ask is that in EVO mag it states the 0-60 as 5.2 secs, but that's just the standard STI isn't it?

Well info I posted says 5.17 official figure for standard car. Evo poosibly only managed 5.2 with a PPP car, but I don't know as I haven't looked at the article. 0-figures mean nothing really, it;s the extra torque and what it does to in gear flexability you are paying for. Right now my standard blobby8 is a whole heap slower below 5k revs than the 295lbft torque sti4 my wife owns.
PPP should even it out a bit.

Cheers for the info mate. I still find it a bit suspect as 4.62 secs and 5.2 is quite a big difference.

Top gear quoted the STI8 PPP as 5.2 as well.

Arent the 4.6 and 12.2 figures for the lighter STI 7 PPP?
