Dealer fitted the above for me but the front ones are already rubbing. Anybody know if there is different settings for the height as the dealer never gave me the fitting instructions and there seems to be a fair bit of work to get them off and check. Any help greatly appreciated.

If they are the rally type flaps then yes I believe there is an adjustment. I have seen posts on here from people saying that they have to be on the high setting on the fronts if scraping is to be avoided.
That said, the lowest setting will give the most protection.
If they are another type then I don't know.

I pick my STi8 +PPP up on the 15th and my 1000 miles will be mostly done on the London-Thurso trip on the 17th....Which dealer did you get yours from..was thinking about using Dicksons to get the 1000 mile service done before the trip south

I did try and get mud flaps thrown in, but the sales chappy wouldn't have it. Did get TypeUK mats in the deal though, plus they're getting the gold wheels made up in P1 anthracite which I think will look super kewl on a black STI.

Got it from Dicksons and am really delighted with there customer service although i had been using Aird motors in Beauly before and had no problems whatsoever either. Remember to fill up with SUL in inverness or you'll need to get Octane booster! If you want contact details for Dicksons send me an email as you might get a little bit off from the bloke I usually deal with (obviously you might have to take me out a run in your PPP before I decide to sell the Gran and get one myself!) Let me know, Cheers Scott Cameron (Long story with profile name) S600BYC@AOL.COM

Sandy,
I put the proper Subaru mud flaps on my 7 and tried all the different set ups; low/low low/high and high/high. I finally settled on the high front and the low back set up.
The fronts still rub with enthusiastic driving especially as I head over the Ord and on the roads we have Up North, but after a year of roads in Aberdeenshire the wear is insignificant so to speak.
The back ones don't touch, but be careful on reversing around high kerbs. I had them set high to avoid this, but they look better at the low setting.
If you go for the low front setting they touch damn near all the time, and god knows what they would be like by the time you go over the "Cassiemire" a few times. Even on the high front setting I'm guessing you would be bouncing down the road, scuffing as you go
I think you got some bits and pieces from my mate in Inverurie for the Sti 8... I'll be up the road some time in the next 4 weeks, at least as far as Berriedale, so might head up the road further and give you a shout nearer the time.

Not too bad, but now there's a lot of the max power boys on the go but the big woobly scoop usually puts them in their place!!!! The usual places are good for a blast but the local bobies (police) usually want there pound of flesh if your not carefull! Suppose it's just like every where else nowadays. Suppose that's a bit pot kettle black syndrome for a 23 year old!
