Swingaway Towbars
Anyone got one?
How much roughly do they cost, fitted?
Might be needing one soon to tow something interesting...

Hi Tim
I had a Subaru removable tow bar fitted when I got my MY98 to tow my Yam XL1200 jetski. It looks OK when the tow ball is removed, and is very easy to put on/off.
The Tow ball is locked in position so it can't be nicked.
Can't remember how much as I got it thrown in when I bought the car. If you wanna see it and you are in the Surrey/Berks area drop me an email and you can have a look.

Had one fitted on 99MY by local dealer CVC. Cost was approx £300. Rang around for prices and all dealers for once seemed about the same.
Other towbars are available eg Brink ,Witter etc but these cant be fitted without cuttung the rear bumper.
Cheers
