Hi Guys.Just picked up my second hand Nur Spec.Noticed that it has brown tint on some of it.I presume it originates from the welding where the tail pipe meets the box. However some of the brownness extends halfway up the tail pipe. Can this be removed,if so with what?
ps Big Goon if you read this I'm not complaining about the condition AT ALL.Its in great nick and looks the dogs danglies, just wondering if the brown tinge can come off or if its normal. Thanks for dropping it off!

Deep, I use Autogleam metal polish for my exhaust however you will probably find it won't remove the brown tarnish, it didn't on mine but try it anyhow cos it's good.
What I did to remove the tarnish on my bb was Wonder Wheels, just make sure you wash the exhaust afterwards and then use the polish.
I'm sure that will do the trick.
Luck sod with the Blitz, let us know what it's like!
Rob.

Usually use Silvo, and WonderWheels to clean it first, or sometimes T-Cut which is also particularly good.

Thanks guys.I've already cleaned it with Tcut. This removed loads of crud and made it shine nicely. Its just this brown tinge on the tail pipe that Iwould love to get off.I'll try wonder wheels followed by the Atoglym polish.

Sounds to me like the heat from the welding is responsible for this. If this is the case it ain't gonna come off
