Subaru is Japanese owned by Fuji heavy industries, though i belive some cars were made in Taiwan.

All Subarus are either made in Japan, US (for US market), or Thailand (Subaru Traviq only). The Taiwan plant closed a few years ago, & that plant does not belong to FHI. They are merely an assembly plant contracted by FHI to assemble cars for the Taiwanese market.
