If you had the chance to influence Subaru with any improvements, what would you suggest. You never know, someone from Subary R+D may read this and make some changes for the next model. (We can only hope)
My suggestions would be to fit a turbo timer which is compatable with the alarm, and a built in radar detector.

Good idea but I doubt they'll add a turbo timer, it invalidates the CAT 1 Certification.

How about some more 3 door UK models!

Tougher paint.

International STi wagon.

Are the standard WRX brakes good enough yet?

Nicer interiors - let's have the alcantara as an option on all!

5 Door ONLY - why pick the slower, saloon??

NO Gold Wheels at all - so, so, so, 80's!!

NO bright button - fit a washer bottle level instead!!

Leather as standard

Thicker metal panels

Diesel option!!

Proper Headlights!

Squeak, creak and rattle free interior!

Yearly Services, get rid of all this 7500 mile nonsense!

£17500 On-The-Road AND the Wagon comes at the same price as a saloon, if the Saloon remains that is!

Forget all these special editions which just take money off the gullible.

>5 Door ONLY - why pick the slower, saloon??
Are you on the same planet as the rest of us? ALL road tests have proved that the 5 door is slower than the saloon.
For one the power to weight ratio is reduced to the extra weight of the 5 door. Get real you idiot.
By the way I DO drive a 5 door so I speak from experience.

>NO Gold Wheels at all - so, so, so, 80's!!
Name me ONE car that had gold wheels in the 80's. How would you know anyway, you would have been a bubble gum blowing boy at school in those days.

>Diesel option!!
Why destroy Subaru's classic flat four layout that gives the car such fine handling and balance. Want a diesel? Go and buy a VW branded product.

As an addendum though, I would hesitate to swap my '2 for those horrendous running costs I keep hearing about.. Nice to look at and appreciate but jesus you guys must sweat at night..

The float dips, it disappears into the depths - Bluto takes the bait and runs, he runs!! Always can be relied upon!! so, so easy

I read somewhere that the 5-door WAS faster than the saloon AND after driving both I CAN say that the 5-door is a much better drive

Oh, yes, Gold Wheels are for nancy boys who live in the tacky decade
