Deep droning noise!

I recently fitted a K&N 57i induction kit and sometimes when lifting off to change gear between 5500rpm and 7000rpm there is a short deep droning noise wich sounds as if it's the 57i forcing air out through the pipework,
Has anybody else experienced this?
