What defines Model Year?

The year it was sold/registered or the 'plate' year it is on?

e.g My VR6 is a Dec 94 so on an M plate. Some people say that makes it a MY95, I say a MY94. Which is correct?

Wink

MY comes out in october so you could for example get an MY99 from October 1998 BUT some of the MY98 spec cars may have been still available to register so its not always conclusive .

Andy is spot on with the my98 to my99 changes

Prodrive Performance Pack

Subarus answer to make your fast car even faster. Usually remapped ecu, supplying more fuel etc. Bigger exhaust, and the list can go on for ever.
