The IOM 3 are in the process of preparing our defence against charges brought following our September visit to IOM and are looking for some expert police qualified drivers to view the video taking at the time and to comment on same in the form of a statement.

Any one help ?

Not sure that any Policeman would want to get involved - I guess this would mean that they would be contesting evidence / statements that the IOM Police present to the Court.

Is the alleged incident actually on the video?

Personal experience with the Isle Of Man Police has been excellent - visited the IOM nearly thirty times (bikes and cars)over the years and never had a problem.

I wouldn't hold your breath on the chances of getting away with this. I have a mate who was a traffic cop at the time when he got caught speeding on the IOM. Even though he went to court with all the correct arguments (after all he should know!) about callibration, use of the gun, etc etc. the magistrates found in favour of the local plod.

Its not speeding. It's 3 of us charged with dangerous and driving without due care.

We have a video which disproves the witness statements, some which have miraclously changed after PLOD viewd part of the tape.

Do you know any police involved ? or witnesses as it is a very small island i will more than likly know them. People are always winging about scoobies over here, had the plod on me a million and 1 times until i complained and strangely i have not been pulled up since. It's really annoying, because they are doing this to you guys, but in TT week over here they are quite happy to let a drunk german do 150mph on his bike through a 50mph limit and not give a monkeys.

Hey PNM quite excited that were on here me being just a baby an all. I'm not sure about giving witnesses names etc but the statements are pretty poor and our solicitors have said that really no matter what we say we will be found guilty so much for justice eh? One of the local Plod was really cool and a nice guy the other was somewhat agressive think his parents were brother and sister bet he can play the banjo.

What I am looking for is a really good map of the Kepple Gate, windy Corner, Brandywell Bend, The Bungalow, the Veranda and up to Black Hut. More detail the better.

Also for all those who went can you give me some indication of how many times you went over the mountain between Ramsay and Douglas.
