Does anyone know much about the scooby type r. i really want a 2dr car and the only 2 uk ones are the p1 and 22b which are still far too expensive for me. so any info would be great thanks

check out the sidc forum. they have a lot of info on type R's.

on a rough comparison, type R's are the jap equivalent of UK's P1.

they have close ratio short shift, intercoller spray and a trick elec control diff.

type r are rear biased at 64/36.

P1 is a Type R only not as good ( P1 that is ).

or try the IWOC
site they also have quite a bit of info on it.

Type R is a 2dr in same way that Saloon is a 4dr and Wagon is a 5Dr. Only impreza with hatchback (the extra door) is the wagon.
