Used Prices

Like many people i was shocked by the depreciation on my Scoob (99 MY Full PPP.).
Having only owned the car for six months i was ofered £11000 (paid 14500) against a new STI8.
I have enjoyed the experience, but if that's all i can get for my car i'll be looking else where.

2b fair price drops will happen with any car when a new model is released so a bit of a sting is inevitable with such unlucky timing of a purchase I wood possibly also say that er digs hole & promptly sticks foot in mouth that if u bought from a dealer or wotever then initial price will have been a tad OTT & part x even against a fresh piece of meat er metal will never b especially healthy in real terms
Just a few thoughts & i do feel for ya but still could b worse just imagine if u had bort an STi7

11k for a my99 i think you got a good deal ( maybe you payed ott for it ) , the whole of the 2nd hand used car market has died , not just scoobs , and the old myth " oh sorry sir a new model is out now and your car is now not worth alot " is salesman talk , it can though apply to the some basic cars ie Fords mondeos ,
A car is only worth wot someone is prepared to pay for it
