I wouldn't fancy opening the wallet to pay for a 22B bumper & wing, never mind the rest of the damage!

I know the owner, it was written off due to the cost £18,000 to repair, hence I drive mine very slowly

it is true, and its more like 2500 plus vat if you can find any that exist, since they are off the shelf not made to order.

front bumpers come in at 4500 plus vat, wheels 850 each plus.

this one has an inner wing damaged, hence the price.

If I'm correct I think the Reg ends in 2B....Warrenders up near manchester had a 22B for sale with a plate that ended in 22B - I think!

One of their 1%er's as they called them

It was a 10mph impact in the IOM and the owner was very sad to have to give up the car but months passed and the insurance co hadn't made progress with the repair. Have a bit of sympathy for the guy.....and his car. What a shame Personally I don't think it is a viable "buy to do up project".

I would buy that If I had some room in the garage and could free up the cash quick enough...

Bumper and the wing are the only problems..

I suspect that the width is in the wings.. lower arms etc..

Std Chassis leg is 90% the same, if not cut and weld a std one + custom fab.

Bonnet Same.. Ish.. Vents?

Front Panel, Lights Indicator, Same..

Aftermarket set of wheels??

I have simpathy for the guy.

Although the accident I was in recently wasn't my fault, the *** hole hit me in the rear offside corner, so its all his fault. But the car is going to be off the road for 6 weeks cos they have to rebuild the rear wing from scratch, inner outer the lot.

Thankfully cos he hit the rear corner there was no major chassis damage, but even still the car will never be the same.

Its a 6 grand repair job.

I'm sueing the ****** for depreciation value, the insurance company are already claiming a grand for depreciation, but with the way the second hand market for scoobies are going at the moment, then a grand is nothing.

Out of more interest you should see what the price of 22bs are to import, eye poppingly low.
