As the question asks - who has the fastest "all rounder" on Scoobynet?

What BHP
What Top Speed
What 0-60
What 1/4 mile

Those of you that use the track - what's your best lap time and where was it?

As far as I've been able to establish the man in question is Andy F.

Wrx RA with a 1/4 of 11.8 secs

Bhp was about 350 then but is more now (well not right now cause his engine is in bits....but soon)

Top speed = slow because of RA gearing.

depends on the year of the RA. My RA will do 160MPH, hardly slow.

Under 12 second quarter mile times start to be fast. Terminal speed will say more about the car's performance than the time needed (which says more about the driver's ability to launch well).

High top speed is good, but not often used, and is more or less irrelevant for a rally type car and its intended use (as long as it is above say 130 - 140 mph).

There must be a faster scooby then one with 350bhp...

Peter Duke from Duke Video, owns a 22B and his is giving well over 400bhp. He recently set a fastest time for the hill climb over here.

Anything sub 13 1/4 mile + above 155 mph is fast in my books.

Fair play - 400bhp is a lot. How reliable is it and is this a "regular" thing now - as scoobs were known for tuning limitations some time ago?

Any track people out there? If so what are your times?

There's another dyno day at well lane this weekend which should see some excellent results. Best I've seen so far is Harvey with 417BHP on the rollers, though others should be chasing him the next time

Please don't forget the question ladies and gentlemen - the main point of the question is "ALL ROUND" so big HP is impressive but we are also looking into top speed, 0-60, 1\4 mile and the other deciding factors as well.

Thanks for you replies so far....

Where are the track people???

surely mark aigins car? R19KET

not the fastest quarter mile but it was only ever recorded over 500m and I cant remember the time but it was low 13s.

He put up a fraction of the power chart and it was well over 400 at something like 4000rpm.

Am guessing that car is/was probably the quickest on here.

top speed on the same day was set I think by tim whiteside at 166.6mph and still pulling, but again marks car would probably have taken that had it not been his first outing

I second Aigins car, should be a monster once allowed to sort everything.

My car is one of the faster over here (Sweden), both in a straight line, as well as on track - and it's a mere euro turbo with some bolt-on's.

1/4 12,72@110 mph 1,77 60-ft
0-60 sub 4 (just around 4 flat to 100 kph)

That was with a VF23, and wussy gearchanges - the car is now sporting an MD304, and the chalak synchro is on it's way in.

/J - almost too proud of the car for his own good.

Theres the answer - its a benchmark against the other track scoobies on here...

Or does that not "prove" anything?

Just asking BTW...

To be honest having the most powerful scooby actually means little, it depends very heavily on the driver as to the actually speed of the car on the road.
