Am I right in saying that the number plate is not legal as it presents it as a V reg, when in fact the car would be older. I only ask because the DVLA advised me that based on the number plate setup system you cannot present a number plate that construdes the car being newer than it actually is.

some 22bs were registered as genuine V regs, I know of at least 1 reg and I also know of some still unregistered ones.
