I Have just bought my 1st Subaru,its a Sport saloon 2001.I had a test drive of the turbo and loved it,but couldn't afford or warrant the extra cash it was going to cost me.I pick it up on Thursday pm.Are ther many Sport owners on these forums?If there are i would be grateful for any advice on maintaining and modding.

Glad to see that you have joined the ranks of scooby owners. Believe me you are getting the same rush i got when i got my first one. I moved from a Golf GTI (Mk3) to a sport (mo mods).Ran it for 3 years, bit pricey on the servicing and running costs, but when you hit your first corner in the wet it all makes it worth it.Sports may not be the quickest, but its quick enough when you need it even without mods. Im sure the guys and girls on the boards will have some advice on any changes but the basic ones would be getting rid of the crap 15" wheels, moving to 16" or 17", better tyres and maybe decatting though i could be proved wrong.
