Please feel free to delete the title of the post if this exposes the location of your car. But I just wanted to say fair play to you...your car is rapid. I know you probably get people post here all the time saying this...but stating the obvious, your car is quick.

If your reading this, im the guy who drives the MK1 golf gti (oak green) which often used to be parked up the end of your road as my g-friend used to live there.

This morning I was taking her to her parents for xmas through Normandy and the roads were like a dream. Empty bar a few cars.
I overtook a few oldies sitting at 30 as im sure you did too and was atleast at the speed limit down this country lane awaiting the next car to overtake, when suddenly in my mirror (dont mean to be big headed but this rarely happens!) a car came up rather quickly indeed. Whats this I thought...red escort? Nope...could it be a.....errr yep...its a scooby (sorry if this word is max power language on here) as I lay off in the panic it overtakes! Bring it on I thought...then realised it was you. I often see you driving around Guildford. You work for suburu? I always see them parked up out your house. Anyway obviously I wasnt trying to keep up at all....(ahem). I tried to beep as I went past and you were already parked up! But like most things elctronic with a mk1 golf, my horn is a bit intermittant!

So respect from a club gti member. Always nice to see a fair effort from such a beast of a car.

PS: If you write back saying you werent even trying, I think ill cry...

Yep Chris thats the one with the tints and "that distinctive" plate. Guess he doesnt post here then. I think there are a few Guildford Suburu people that meet up and go to the cruise (thats now died off/moved?) as Ive seen a few driving together down salt box. Oh well, not to worry. Byyyeeee
