Going large...............

I recently phoned my insurance to see how much extra it would be to put a set of 17"s or 18"s on my scooby. They said they would charge me £200 more a year. They said this is because they are non-standard, so, i thought, what if i got a set of gold OZ's that were a bigger size than my 16" speedlines then they could still be classed as standard?

My insurance co. wanted £500
IIRC, they said that it was because they were worth more than £400 I *think*
It's best to ask about mods before taking a policy out, because I could have ended up paying about £700-800 for the mods which I could () have put on my car hehehehe
