1 atmosphere = 14.7 psi, which is standard absolute atmospheric pressure, which is also 760mmHG (mm head of mercury)

1 bar = 14.5psi = 100,000 Pascals
1.0131 bar = 1 atm

And just to be annoying 1kg/cm^2 doesn't equal a bar or an atmospere.

Come on Pav, it's Sunday mate. There is no need for technical stuff. My head is still all over the place from last night.

Fine,

1 bar = 10^5 Pa

1 Pa = 1 N/m^2

Paul, Kg/cm2 IS annoying for us Defi owners, but they're only 2% apart and no in-car gauge is that accurate
