Cool

Had a trip to see my mate Ted today and on the return home I encountered a silver Audi TT. Stuck to my rear end and itching to pass something suddenly possessed me and I felt the urge to change into 3rd and push the accelerator to the floor. Didn't pull much distance at first, but as soon as we came to the first bend...whoooosh, I was away and he never caught me again after a few well timed overtaking manouveres

Totally agree. And some people have the gall to say bug eyes are ugly ! Motors don't come much uglier than the Audi TT (although a BMW Z3 gets close IMHO).

<Calling Saxo Boy>

Me thinks Blutes can show you how to write a thread and not get 7 pages of flames.

Yes, yes

I had a race on an empty, straight, dualled road.

Didn't pull much distance at first, but as soon as we came to the first bend...whoooosh, I was away and he never caught me again after a few well timed overtaking manouveres
Blutes was clearly flat out (in order to lose a TT) and he said he dropped to 3rd gear which means his speed was over 60mph!

Lets look at the facts. He was racing, he was speeding, it was in the twisties, given he was racing he'd have been driving faster than the distance he could see and safely stop, there were other road users around that he and the TT were overtaking......how he's not been flamed I dont know!!!!!!

I think you'll find the word is hypocrocy

Nonetheless, I liked his tale

flame me instead - i cut a nova up last night as was in a bad mood - he did try to take me up the inside - but i felt very childish once the deed was done. not normal pratice for me and i deserve a flogging!

rose to the bait - and felt like a **** after.

SN i have sinned - can any of you forgive me?

yours humbly and red-faced.

the difference is bluto is not on here feeling sorry for himself

if he was posting about crashing his car after doing this and was wanting sympathy then it would be different he would deserve a flaming cos that really does annoy me

why do some think they deserve sympathy cos the drove like ***** and then crashed? ask andy oakes that 1

Question

Can anyone please explain why Bluto22b isn't getting flamed here?

No disrespect to Bluto22b at all as his post seems perfectly fair and I really have zero opinion on this, just curious as to why not.

I just think that Saxo boy may have a point here
