Am I the only one who thinks this but..........why do we only send these people to prison for a couple of years max (21 year old, 90 offences), maybe 5 years if they car-jack somebody.
No decent person would do this. They are pure scum and as such deserve to go to prison for life! Don't try and rehabilitate them as the 2 years inside is like car thieves college. Just put them in prison and throw away the key. Do the same for people who burgle houses as well. The country would be far better for it. We are far too soft in this country.

Stuff the prison sentences, knee capping or chopping hands off would be the answer. Especially for the repeat offenders.
Notice the anti-theft devices in use in South Africa & the motorist that shot at the guy who stole the hand bag from the other car - if that was here in the UK it would be the motorist defending his proerty or striking back that would end up prosocuted for assault etc!!!!!!!!!!!!
Perhaps the establishment of a nationwide vigilante squad is needed, find out who these guys are then 'reward' them acccordingly!
What about the guy who admitted stealing the Escort Cossie & saying he didn't have any thoughts or remorse for the people who owned the cars!

But the ITV proggy does make u think (translate get paranoid 
) but cant believe how stoopid sum of the people were, i dont care how long i worked 2 get my pride & joy if i leave doors unlocked & sum1's tellin me get out with a pointy thing or shooter then they can have the bugger! Although blackjax may well have 2b fitted just 4 extra peace of mind Woz that smoky thing @ thatcham just sum BMW gizmo or sumin or can u actually buy them now n all?

I fort glass was breakable on side windows as a safety point (ok maybe cheaper also) but i'd rather risk havin windows dun 2 get sum bum fluff i left on seat than get burned alive kuz doors were stuck & so was i! Besides wood only work 2 prevent entry if it has the metal surround surely as even when he had a feable prod it looked like u kud still force it & i shud fink scoobs with just glass at the top of door wood give in even easier?
