Oh well someone posted these on the ringers list today, they are about 100 meg each.
This is some dude going for it in his 944 Turbo. He is driving really fast and often on the limit (no ****). In Pflanzgarten II he is actually WELL over the limit, and gets a huge slide which he corrects with great skill (and turns his wipers on)- and just a bit of luck?!

The fastest ever BTG lap for an amatuer? Porsche 911 GT3 - this guy is so smooth.

Must admit the 944 turbo is quick, but he like to drive on the limit. Could almost keep up in the dry, but in the wet the guy was a nutter. Got him on vid almost loosing it through the Karussell, he did it sideways in the wet Nutter!

I got some stealth mode video laps in a couple of weeks ago.
It's amazing what you find under a floor mat in these STi's.
I managed to get away with using the camera on my side mirror by carefully choosing which toll booth to use. Then installed it where it was imposible to see for the rest of the day.
I couldnt see anything there in print saying you cant film, but the guys on the toll booth were looking for camera's and tried to stop me on one occasion pointing at the recording unit, i convinced them it was a walkman. LOL then the unit mysteriously disapeared.
Damn shame really as the films i make always teach me something and do add to the safety aspect of driving the ring.

They will have time to think about things over the winter.
I reckon that all will be back to normal for next year’s madness.
I think it is safer, as it allows people to time the lap without visually being able to see the time during the lap.
It also as John states gives you the opportunity to learn from the odd mistake....
Also it gives the chance to watch the day’s antics over a pint or two of beer
