Been thinking about this for a while and I'm not sure if anyone has done it or tried it before, so here goes.
I would like to organise a meeting for Legacy Twin Turbo owners some time in the New Year.
This would be to bring together all the owners and have a good look at others rides and then chat and discuss about tuning this rather difficult beast. I know there are some owners out there with some knowledge etc. I was looking at Feb/March next year and the location would be somewhere in the midlands (i know of plenty of locations). We can only do this if there is enough interest. Please register or e-mail me.
Thanks Tim
P.S. I have not included the earlier single turbo Legacy due to it being so similar to the Impreza but of course you would be welcome if you wish.

Okay that's 4 already. i'm thinking either Coventry/Hinkley area which is near to the M1. Or Staffordshire near M6. We'll have to see where peeps are coming from. thanks for the interest. I will also be asking if any jap performace mags are interested as we have yet to see the ultimate stealth machine in the glossy pages, just the same old boring cars every month.

Can other people come watch and listen? I have an old style, single turbo legacy, but I aspire to own your cars, guys! Turbo chargers absoloutely fascinate me too (to the point of being very sad: I think Intercity 125s sound cool with their 80litre 12cylinder Paxman Valenta TurboDiesel Electric engines! yes THAT sad)

Steve,
Absolutely mate, come and listen to the sound of a smooth roller bearing turbo in action and then hear it all again as the secondary kicks in etc.... god i'm sounding like you !!
What i'd really like to see is the latest D Rev GT-B/B4 or even an STI Legacy if anyone has imported one of only 400 made.

can all those who will be attending please send their details as far as Legacy is concerned. Mines a '97 GT-B Manual BG5. This weekend I will be speaking to baby bruv (Fireblade rider) to assertain a good location in the Leicestershire area. This seems central and also close to M1 for North & south and near to the West with easy access from either the M6 or A50.
Will also work on some definate date.
Cheers Tim

Dave,
Can't see all the pic ! But what are the details + spec. I like the colour. Dremel just wait for the right manual Wagon and one will come along. it will be worth it. I nearly bought an auto but waited and really dropped on with mine. Ex Prodrive v good condition etc. I wouldn't sell for anything at the moment and may keep it forever.

Why not tie it in with a "Subaru" meet, like "The Big One", rather than just have Legacys turn up, why not expand it to ALL Subarus (even Justys!!)

Dan,
My plan was to start a yearly meeting for TT owners through out the UK. Of course we would welcome anyone interested in these cars or looking at buying one in the future. As for tying in with another Scooby event in the area then sure but someone in the Midlands would have to contact me. I have posted the notice on the Midlands & Northern boards. I've been to a few meets in the North & Midlands including the Big One, but have yet to see another TT at one. There was a couple of nice earlier Legacy's at the Big One.
Thanks Tim

Well, I based in the Midlands (admittedly, dangerously close to Wales!!), down in Hereford (about 25 Miles from J7 M5).

There is a big following down here, and we have a wide and varied range of cars, including STi7s, 22B, Legacys.

I don't mind 'linking' up early next year for a meet
Did it earlier this year with the Welsh lot, and ended up in the SIDC magazine

Feel free to email me offline with any suggestions to a location

Regards,

Dan

Here are some details of the meeting as promised. The date will be Sunday 2nd March to help pass those winter months away. The location is looking like Staffordshire at the moment details to follow. Can anyone let me know if this date clashes with any other planned events. Will also publish details on the Yahoo B4 website.
Would like to see plenty of B4's and howabout a H6 Outback.
Thanks Tim
