I originally come from Middlesbrough area - it was nice when I left

Will be paying a visit to the North Yorks Moors in 3 weeks - a question for all those in Boro or surrouding area - will my Scoobie be safe from the theiving *******?? PLUS, what would be the wisdom of parking in the back streets around the Riverside Stadium while I watch the BORO get thier 4rses kicked??

Ive never had a problem in 21/2 years with thefts on Teesside, just depends were you are staying.

With ref to parking on match days, park your car near the boat nightclub on the otherside of Tees dock. Costs about 3 quid but safer that leaving in the back streets and quicker to get away after the match, although the way they have been playing at home you will probably want to leave at half time.

congratulations for warning all potential thieving scumbags that you're heading north

if you're really worried ... you could always take one of the many other cars that you've got ... just to throw them off the scent of course ....

 

Never had a problem with thefts but then again I did live in naughty Nunthorpe and that kind of thing doesnt go on there does it?

Anyway I've got to go and pick my shell suit and my girfriends white stillettos from the cleaners! By ecky like am late!

I'm not going to condone this kind of behaviour, but...

North Yorkshire has NO gatsos.

They do like their radar / laser traps though, especially on the routes around Helmsley 'cos of all the bikers - so watch out on a Sunday.
