Mirror and frame (As in wing mirror glass and housing), quite often prone to failure at high speed motoring - especially on the post 99MY cars. The Pre 99 had a different design, so less affected by induction kit turbulence caused by larger bonnet scoops.

I think you'll find that the above is very accurate.

Sorry to butt in, i thought it was Mass Air Flow sensor.

But i could be completely wrong here, (it has been known)

MAF = Miss All Frogs

Was introduced after some clever green party lobbying due to the frogs refusing to use the bridges and tunnels and crossings provided to cross the road.. the MAF detects a frog from about 200metres due to its unique fragrance and sends messages to the car engine management system to slow done apply the brakes if approaching too quick.. IIRC

MAF - Majorly Aromatic Fart

Common on Sundays, due to Kebab/Curry the previous night + lots of beer. Can be effected by the type of filter material, ie, cotton pants and tracksuit bottoms can cause more damage, whereas the filter properties of rubber pants and leather trouser are much safer to passers by.
