The one I saw today was on an 'R' plate so can't have been older than 5 years. The twin exhausts looked very nice.
After being behind it for 5 miles he flew off but not as fast as I'd expect a WRX to have gone. Had the missis with me so had to be a good boy and stay behind - she's pregnant.
:-)

That SVX website is pretty good
I knew that the auto gearbox could be suspect, but $4200 dollars for a fitted replacement ! Must be looking at £5k in the UK !
Also "do not drive like a maniac" to prevent the on-set of premature wheel-bearing failure...

The SVX was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro @ ItalDesign and Subaru.
There has been a rumour flotaing around for past months that there will be a 2nd generation of SVX released in 2004 which will be based on the Impreza platform.

Scooby Regular
Did the "good lady" give you grief!!!
The usual things to look out for are grip-marks in the seat (or your leg!)!!!
Speak to you in the week mate
Dan
PS after the event yesterday, cheered ourselves up with a 'spirited' drive back to Hereford

The SVX I saw was red. The other half said that she'd like one, but as I'm the one that does the paying these days she will have a long wait :-)

PS. Mr 555, had a great drive back from Ross on Wye but after being stuck behind a slow Landrover for 6 miles I zoomed past him as soon as legally possible only to find that a speed camera tucked behind a sign was about to zap me, so hit the brakes level with the driver as oncoming car headed towards me, past the stripes then in.... blimey, these speed cameras are actually a hazard! :-0

Actually, the SVX can be called a 2nd generation XT, as both the XT & SVX are called 'Alcyone' in Japan. The XT was also available with a H6 in certain markets towards the end of it's production run too.
