Red face

Accelerating hard over some bumpy tarmac today, heard a loud clang.
Could this be transmision?

The wheels were scrabbling for grip whilst turning.
Doesn't appear to be damaged though - no noises now.
Is this a scoob thing or is my car shagged?

hope that was all it was - just sounded a bit mechanical though.
My paranoia of a new (used) car.

Sounds like a diff locking. Dont think it should be that loud though. You should feel it rather than hear it.
