Does this just screw on under the front bumper of an MY00?
Mines in to be colour coded 2 weeks time and I'm toying with getting that done at the same time, hell I may even get the sti rear spoiler while I'm at it

If you haven't got it already you can get the fitting kit for it which includes self tapping screws and finishing strip.
Fit the spoiler on to the bumper then go underneath and drill small holes in the various locations and secure.

The MY00 already has all the holes under the bumper so all you need to do is push the plastic captive nuts into the bumper(in the fitting kit)and then tighten the screws up.
Only takes about half an hour to fit

Beastie,
I got my original STI6 lip spoiler from Cheam Motors (Surrey Subaru Dealer). I got mine a while back, but I think it was about £130+VAT, which is cheaper than GGR!
Give Jim Childs a call on: 020 8394 2263
The lip spoiler will only fit on MY99/00 cars. MY99 needs the holes drilled, while the MY00 don't!
Hope this helps

This place has certainly got some gear
Has anyone actually ordered anything, I'd be a bit worried about having a delicate awkward shaped thing like a front spoiler delivered all the way from aussy.

Don't forget that if you import, you will have to pay duty (about 10%), VAT (17.5%) and probably an admin cost of £10 from UPS!
It will probably cost about £150 once all the 'hidden' costs are paid!
I've bought quite a few bits and pieces from MRT, and have been stung for the costs most of the time! But some bits are cheaper than buying in the UK!
Hope this helps

Just seen this though from MRT, "NOTE adhesive (if used) and fixtures (self tapping screws) not supplied." "MRT performance may recommend that we ship this art in two components to save freight, reduce risk of damage and to make it easier for you to fit."

I'm sure it's a one piece spoiler!!

Bear in mind that a lot of dealers won't/can't get these bits in! I think (??)Cheam Motors have an agreement with IM to sell this stuff!

Hi Andy,
You're probably right m8. Is the 10% duty for the UK? Coz if you are not in Australia you don't pay the Aussie 10% VAT?
Cheers,
Wrexy.

Andy,
Car's looking sweet as usual m8. Bet it flies now with the link and APS FMIC
I've bought from Cheam before, top dealers they are.
Cheers,
Wrexy.

Wrexy,
It depends what you're buying, but I normally get charged about 10%. The admin cost will vary between couriers as well.
Either way the big stuff from MRT doesn't make sense, unless its incredibly cheap! The smaller stuff is a bargain!!

Wrexy,
I think the APS gear (FMIC, induction kit & dump valve) along with my Power Enterprise PE1818 turbo has made a huge difference!
I hate to boast, but.....
I think I can safely say, that my car is one of the most powerful UK cars with standard internals!!
I've still got a few bits to, but I think it's nearly there!! I'm a few bhp away from my goal!!
M_S,
Feel free to copy, I've started to tone down the car!! The P1 lights have gone, and the rear clusters are now STI red/clear items (with a working fog light)!
I'm considering selling my Morettes as well, and give the car a cleaner look!
Cheers
