can you tell me why when i get notification that someone has posted a reply and when i check the bbs these is none?

one of life's little mysteries.... never happened to me....

 

Stick a question mark (?) at the end of the address string, press enter and hey presto. It forces IE to refresh the cache.

Are the nimber of replies listed in the table different from the number you can see on the thread? I often find that I.E. stores the page and when I have a look again at a page new replies are not there, click refresh and you should be all right, it may take more than 1 attempt though.
