car in for a 7.5k service, they gave me a jutsy!!!! what an orrible little car!

anyway scoob was there 4days as they were respraying some dodgy paint for me- got it back today- good god! is it quick! took me 30 secs to get in gear, the jutsy was far from a quickshift

anyway, if you think you need more power/mods etc just drive a bloody jutsy!

Cool

A Justy driver saw me in erm Stockport I think a while back.

I had pulled up on the forecourt of a garage and I noticed the Subaru badge so gave him a nod and smile of acknowledgement.

He gave me a big grin and waved back

That was nice!!!

It seems quite common to get the Justy while servicing being done on your scoob.

Yes I've had one of those a couple of times, it doesn't even have a radio in.

Nice and slow, I just count the minutes until I get back to pick mine up. Once in mine a big smile comes back on my face.

When I took mine back and threw the keys at the sales man (didn't really) I said does anyone EVER buy one after a test "drive"? he said yes ppl who live on steap hills who need 4wd...

hmm why have 4wd when the engine couldn't even wheelspin 2 pram wheels

DOH didn't realise that was a gearstick! I thought it was a magic wand. didn't seem to make any difference as I move it around

REMEMBER - if someone waves at you from a clean newish Justy it's probably someone in a courtesy car with their Turbo in for a service!

Appologies to and Justy owners on the board but a Justy isn't my cup of tea,. I prefer cars of this milenium not to have plastics last seen in a 1980s Fiat. Oh and a steering wheel connencted to the front wheels by an intricate series of elastic bands doesn't do much for steering feel. Come to think of it I don't think depressing the accelratort makes you go faster it just increases the volume of the raucous engine. Hard to imagine the Subaru cars can be at both ends of the spectrum of automotive engineering.

It really does make you appreciate your car when you get it back doesn't it.

Talking

Had my MY95 Turbo serviced....

They gave me an Impreza 2.0L sport special (Prodive pack etc)

It was yellow. Very VERY yellow. AND that exhaust does draw attention.....

Still at least it wasn't a Justy :

Thumbs up

You lucky b@stards! All they gave me was a poxy MY01 WRX turbo for the weekend.

Oh how i dream of driving around in a Justy, getting all those admiring looks, easy parking and no envy damage. I can just imagine all the self flagilation as well.
