Had mine done 3.5 weeks ago and love it. Big improvement in mid range and it's lost the breathlessness above 6K rpm. It feels faster than my lightly modded 245bhp 98R. Even my Wife and 76 year old Mother agree.

Worth every penny and no warranty hassles. Fuel consumption up 4% in hard, general use and down 5% on fast A Roads/Dual Cs/Motorways.

Cheers

I like my MY00's PPP a lot, but I agree it's expensive for what you get - which is quicker turbo spool-up for greater flexibility, coupled with a nice (if modest) extra shove at the top end.

How much warranty do you have left? You might be better off with, say, an exhaust swap and a Tek 2 remap at PE, which will be a lot cheaper for much the same result.

Thumbs up

I bought my car with the PPP already fitted but have driven non PPP'ed cars and found them very flat and lacking in torque. Get the downpipe replaced removing the other cat and it makes a big difference. Sounds great

With the full decat its been dyno'ed at 270BHP & 269lb/ft
(its in the dynomite scoobies section on here)

I extended my warranty too. Best thing I ever did! I've had a new clutch out of it already.

if you de-cat the exhaust, does this not invalidate the warranty??

Had the PPP, fitted onmy MY00 just after the car had been run in.
As you will realise from other people there are lots of other different options available for a lot less money Tek 2 for example.
Personally I would prefer to trust the people who live and breathe Subarus..... PRODRIVE
You know it makes sense.
