Intercooler Cleaning
#2
As Gridlock Mikey will confirm, much to his amusement, I tried the vacuum cleaner a while ago - lol ! Only I might add because I was also vacuuming the inside at the time!!!
It actually worked a treat in getting all the bugs out but a toothpick seems to be the preferred method, together with a pressure washer - used very carefully as it bends the fins!
BB
And NO Mikey I was not wearing a piny and Marigolds at the time - Don't try using an upright vacuum though, as this will not fit under the bonnet!!!!!

I use a tooth pick to straighten the fins, them wash it all thru with a hose, no jets no preasure just flowing water, I also put extra polish on the bonnet in front of the scoop, make me feel better about the air flowing in, I dont know if it works or not
