I had my turbo rebuilt, due to a oil seal go and wear and tear.
I got it back all shiny.
Fitted over a week (I wanted to make sure it was all OK)
I followed all the instructions, that came with the trubo
I have just taken it out for short slow drive, I pulled into a garage as I thought it smelt funny, I open the bonnet, to be met with a cloud of smoke.
I don't understand there are no spare bolts left, no leaks, all OK.
Help help.
Does any oneknow anyone, who can help or where I can take it to be looked at..

Double check the oil drain, and feed, are correctly fitted. It may well just be some oil that spilt, when the turbo was remaoved.

I did have a oil leak on to the up pipe, but all the smoke is coming from under the heat sheld, it smells like burning, god I hope it is OK.
Is there any where round here that can look at it

Very common after a rebuild, my old STI smoked like mad as you describe (I thought it was on fire at first rushed back to my works,... one of those saddest moments, sitting in front of the car with a fire extinguisher grabbed of the wall at work wondering whether I should open the bonnet or not!)
All was ok ,after half a dozen runs the smoke disappeared and all was rosy.A tiny amount of oil on an exhaust/turbo will create vast amounts of smoke and it often seems to collect around the heat shield, run the boost and revs a bit and the exhaust/turbo start to glow red and a drop of oil turns into a huge cloud of smoke!
I would see if it clears first after a few runs before panicing
