Motorshow/2003 Scoob
#1
Saw the 2003 scooby at the Motorshow. I don't know about you, but I was less impressed by the new light treatment in the metal, so to speak, than I was with the photos in the mags, but much better than the current look, though.
Anyway, my point is that I queued for a minute or two, got inside to see what it was like, sat there for a minute or so, and in that time, just about everybody (6-7 in 2 minutes) nearby grumbled about the cheap interior.
Now, I know it's not great, but it's better than the older ones, and surely you're supposed to be looking out the windscreen anyway... Perhaps these people have not seen the classic interior, only becoming aware of the car in the last couple of years...
What do you think of the interior? Live with it for the fun, or have a lardy Beemer interior and a weight penalty? I wonder...

I sat in it for a good five mins as I was on the stand at 19:00 on the saturday night (everyone was on their way home by then) and I didn't really see any difference in the interior compared to the current sti v7.
