The best radar detector is the Valentine 1, latest version, which also has Ku band. If you can get it from the States, get it coz it's cheap from there. It is way too expensive in the UK.

The Bel Euro 550 is the second best. It picks up all the bands the Valentine does, but with slightly less sensitivity. If you will be purchasing from the UK, value for money, the 550 is the best detector available.

Bel 550.

Got mine a few months and it works - picks up lasers and Gatsos a treat.

It's USP is that it picks up Mini Gatsos, I believe it's the only detector which does so.
