Andy,
havent dealt with 'zin666', but have bought a few
bits on ebay
looking at his profile he seems OK to deal with (500+ feedback is pretty good!!), if you want
to ask him a question - go to ebay=search=member=ZIN666, then just click on his highlighted name ZIN666, this will take you to an ebay page where you can post your question
is that of any help?

alan
p.s. paper manuals are several hundreds of pounds!

In theory the following are available in PDF format for the 01/02MY

They are all headed up 'Service Manual'

New Car Information Section, Part No - W1840G-CD-EFGSI, £52.87

PDF Service Manual - Part No G1480G-CD-EFGSI, £47.00

Supplement for STi Model - Part No G1841G-CD-EFGSI, £34.99

Any Subaru dealer should be able to supply the above as they are treated no diffrently to any other part as far as I can see.

That looks useful. Do you know where wiring diagrams for the STi would be?

In the service manual for bits common with WRX and in the STi supplement for STi specific bits?

Don't want to spend £47 for something I don't want.

I don't have much time at the moment, but I have had a quick look. To cover the WRX you need the 'PDF Service Manual'. The 'STi Supplement' does exactly what it says on the tin, and covers the extra bits the STi 's have.

The 'New Car Information Section' seems to detail the cars spec as opposed how to take it to bits.

I should add that the 'PDF Service Manual' isn't just about routine servicing - it covers all aspects of the car, trouble shooting etc, and details everything from how to change a bulb to rebuilding the engine.
