Just a totally unprompted post - also this may be old news to the many pros on here ....... but here goes
went up to TSL (a long way from south london!) yesterday, got lower, stiffer Eibach springs fitted along with laser wheel alignment (oh and a nicer backbox - deffo needed on an MY02)
The car feels like a totally different machine, body roll seriously reduced, really sticks to the road. I would urge anyone who has not yet had this done to get down there - it's a great service and well worth the cost (about 300)

Got my alignment done just over a week ago, but wasn't able to 'try it out' until last weekend. WOW! I thought the handling was good before, now it's even better (MY00). Bit that really surprised me is how much more stable the car is under hard braking, especially if you're on a slight curve or adverse camber.

DaveR - Being new to the board I'm going to be nice...
If you had asked where to get the geometery done then you would have loads of people saying TSL!
Mine gets checked every so often and is going again on Thursday... (DrEvil booked after me...)
I just hope you didn't have to make you own drinks and get sent to the shop for biscuits!
