Ow!! MY01 bugeye gets another hit!!

I know there's a lot of hard feelings about the latest MY02 price reduction, and how sore the shafting is. I have tried hard to not let it bother me, but it does big time.
It has naffed me off enough to start looking elsewhere, away from Scoobies.
Currently have UK300 reg. Oct01 and after the weekend I am even more fecked off with the whole Subaru / IM thing. NO WANTS SCOOBS EVEN AS A TRADE IN, they have become leppars (think that is the correct spelling) of the car world at the mo.
Thing is no-one with MY01/MY02 will be able to afford to buy another car judging by what I saw at the weekend, Subaru need to pull something out of the bag and quick.
I for one don't think I will buy another Scoob (UK300 is my 3rd) as I am now in severe huff land. Mind you no other dealers want my Scoob so what can you do.
Sent a letter to IM over the weekend but I think it will probably get used as TP for someones crinkly star!!
Moan over (feel slightly better now, NOT)

Enjoy it for another ten years and don't worry about depreciation. If you bought it as an investment then more fool you. Selling any car after a year you will take a big hit. Try a Daewoo or a Vectra and see what -ve percent you see

Im probably one of the few people who's not bothered about the price cuts....
Mine is on a 3year lease (company car), at the end of which I will have the option to buy. The more the price drops the better. The only thing that does pi55 me off atm, is that the P11D value of the car is still sat at ~21.5k, hence Im paying tax on it at that price

local small scooby dealer has the following:
22b - 34K
WRX STi all painted pretty - 32K
p1 - 25K
and about 5 or 6 other turbos of various ages.
considering he only has about 40 cars in stock!
oh and they don't seem to be shifting either.

Pogue,
A bit of both, some said they had enough stock to get rid of, some just said no, others offered really crap money so as to basically say no.
Even other manufacturers dealerships don't want to take one either. Not for themselves or to be underwritten, no-one wants them.
Bugeyes are going to be the biggest ever Subaru **** up from beginning to end.
Mind you, you can get a brand new Saxo VTR for £8.5k at the mo, wonder if they will give me a straight swap!!
Co55ie,
Most of the scrappies are full of shagged out Cossies, so there is no room.

you must have liked the car before the price drop & before top gear so whats the problem just cos some curly headed **** says an rs can beat it, we all know that in the real world its bollox as for the price, six months down the line it probably won't matter any way, not everyone can afford the new my03 so will buy the 01/02, true their not the prettiest car, but nors the classic and its still selling,i own a sti4 at the moment but the next step up will probably be a bug eye ,there will always be a demand for them there a fast car .
