I've been quoted £24,732.25 for a brand new UK Sti on the road price from Lucas of Mansfield (local subaru dealer). They quoted an extra £2000 for the PPP.

Is this a good price or does anyone know where this can be beaten?

That quote is giving a full 5% discount. You will have trouble beating that price. The only problem will be geting a vehicle!!

I did ask that question and was assured that 6 weeks would be the maximum wait assuming I didn't want the special order silver colour, which I don't.

There are silver and white cars still avaible but if you are after wr Blue or Blue black then you might have a problem.

Those cars are imports so don't count in this. You will have trouble getting a car unless your dealer has one in stock. I hope for your sake he gets luckly!

Hasn't anyone got a blue/black mica STI (non bespoiled)
on their forecourts ? Got a DBM MY99 for trade in;
though if I can't find one, or get a reasonable price,
I'll wait for the new shape or get equal length headers and
Ecutek on my current car.
