Mine has to be my AP brakes. They looked awesome in the box, they look better on the car and they work superbly too .

What mod has given you the most pleasure ? (and I don't mean in a sexual way LOL )

For sheer grinability the Prodrive performance Pack.
For best value for money my 800 quid AP brakes? Depends if i'm going or stopping

I guess the glib answer would be 'my next one'

Bompsteer I think... the transformation to the handling of the car was great, it felt so much better balanced during cornering.....and it isn't an expensive mod either.

Hmmm....the scoobysport zorst...or the AP's...or the Link...or the VF24?

Hard to choose....but I'd have to say - the LEDA coilovers.

Driver training with a quality couch like Don Palmer.

Why? Because its lasts a lifetime and helps you embarrass cars with 3 times the power.

Optimax - because it makes all my other mods work so much better (I can get up to 4 deg more advance at peak boost!).

Thumbs up

Had a few mods now on the MY01
Morrettes,PPP,SS CIBIES,Clear reflectors,uprated sound proofing, etc

But by far the best mod you can make to a MY01

Is Decent ICE (IMHO)

I spent just under 2k and it's the B*****ks
so when I don't want to listen to the throb of the Prodrive exhaust I get a crystal clear perfect sound from my Alpine system

Phil

ps Brake Upgrade,Oz's and rear spoiler soon to be added

Gotta be the HKS Induction kit. That noise, totally brilliant under boost, almost WRC and I can always whack up the stereo if it gets in the way. Then finally since fitting: turbo lag? What's that?

It really make that much difference over sul with octane?

My best mod has got to be the whiteline antilift kit - the cars understeer and handling was awful before this, especially in the wet

My worst the brake support bracket - total pants

Steve,

if you like the ALK - make sure you get solid rear drop links, proper strut braces (both ends - STi ones are excellent but very expensive), and the bumpsteer mod!

Optimax is very good - better than octane booster with SUL, even for the same theoretical RON (98.5-99).

Dave

I have the solid rear links and bump steer mod (I was probably one of the first few to have the bump steer mod on the Scoob - I remember u getting it a few months later..)
But I could'nt tell the difference as I'd had the geometry redone at the same time.

I have'nt had front and rear braces done - thought the cost a bit pricey at about £600+ as I have not been on the Track yet in my car..

Just dont seem to have time to check when the track days are - esp. Castle coombe.

Optimax coming to a station near me next week - they are currently 'flushing' the tanks.... cant wait

Scoobies are great the way they are built! No mods needed for a car with plenty of poke but the AP's by far are the best mod!

Completely change your driving style and give you so much more confidence in the cars abilities I think!

Mine has to be the girlfriend who often sits in the passenger seat.

Endless hours of fun checking the dipstick for lubrication in her gearbox. Hehehehe.

Dont suppose it counts but on my old car the best mod was braided brake lines for improving the feel of the brakes...

So before I even drove the subaru I put 4pot calipers and braided brakelines on.

It would have to be the Max Power sticker - loads more speed and so much street cred!

Or the 2ks worth of ICE and a ful hands-free phone kit.

Just seen a car with Max Power mudflaps that drag the ground - any ideas where I can get some??
