So sorry to hear Mole. Didn't know him, but he sounded like a great guy. The 13+ pages show just how much he was respected and admired. Condolances go out to you and yours.

Very sad news, my dad passed away this morning tragically from a heart attack, he didn't suffer, it was over quickly.
Don't know what else to say but wanted to let those who knew him know.

I am honestly shocked to hear this Mole.
He was a truly nice man as far as I could tell, both on the BBS and via private mail. All clichés aside, he was a very enjoyable person on this bbs.
My condolences to you and your family.

My condolences to you and your family. I'm another who never met your father but enjoyed reading his post and keeping up with his weekend antics. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

Mole,
terrible news, dont know what to say except I hope you and your family have much support through this difficult time.
I always enjoyed reading his posts, for the same reasons as people have stated above, just my sense of humour too.
in my religion it is customary to wish people losing someone as close as this, long life.
So, I wish you long life.
I remember the feeling of emptiness when I lost my mum to cancer, and despite your age you would be surprised how many people on here can empathize. If you need help, you know where I am.
Keep well and be strong.

Mole,
I read his posts and enjoyed and appreciated his sense of humour. The same thing happened to me whilst I was at University, so I know exactly how you will be feeling now.
Please accept my deepest sympathy and be strong for the rest of your family. They will need you in the weeks, months and years to come

Mole,
Very sad news. I knew him only through reading his [many] postings in Scoobynet. He was a fantastic contributor and will be sorely missed here too.
Sincere condolences too you and your family.
'sterkte' as they say out here (strength to you)

So sorry to hear about this, I lost my dad last year, and a year on I still miss him like crazy, it'll take time, but things will get better, not straight away, but give it time, if there is any consolation, at least he went quickly, it took my dad about 8 months to die, not a very nice thing to watch.
Keep your pecker up mole, as the old cliche goes, 'life goes on'
Ron.
